Hi to everyone!
Meron akong question. We are in Tokyo now.
My kids are dual citizen (with Japanese passport) pero hindi pa nakagawa ng Philippine passport.
And we will not be able to do it on time because we will depart for cebu after one week (meaning entry to Cebu using Japan passport).
Our plan is to live in Cebu na for good and just visit japan from time-to-time.
Will there be any complications in Phils and Japan side?
I hope anyone with experience can give suggestions and advice.
Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Thank you for your reply mark11.

Just want to clarify.
Yes, my kids were registered in Philippine embassy in Japan because they were born in Japan.
So you mean to say my kids can stay in Philippines for more than a year without coming back to Japan?
And if they use the Japanese passport again in coming to Japan after more than a year, there won't be any issues?

pag nasa pinas na kayo, ikuha mo sila ng phil passport at isama mo lagi yun sa japan passport everytime na lalabas at papasok kayo sa pinas man o japan.walang isyu dahil both accepted sila as dual citizens ( hanggang 20 lang sa japan).
