Kumusta mga Kababayan!

Its been a while since I started contemplating on going to Japan for some financial and career reasons. Its just things aren't looking so good for me here in Philippines. I wanna try to seek a fortune in some other place. So I asked my sister for some help. She's been in Japan for quite a long time already. She married a Japanese citizen and now has 2 kids. She suggested that I would have to marry a Japanese national in order for me to have a long-term visa and be able to land a decent job in Japan. With that regards she could help me find one. Actually she already had someone in mind. She has a friend who had a divorce with a Japanese man. That friend of her's is holding a permanent residency already. She's planning to arrange a wedding for me with her friend.

Sounds good for me but the problem is, we're not totally sure if the Japanese government would allow such thing. The things is, my sister's friend wasn't a born citizen of Japan. She had acquired her visa by marrying a Japanese man.

Through your experiences and expertise in Japan, given this kind of circumstances, I'm looking forward for some reliable comments. Sana matulungan po ninyo ako. Any kind of help would be much appreciated.

Btw, first time ko nagpost dito. Pardon me if this kind of topic already exists.

Salamat po

pakikipag-kasal sa friend ng sister mo at the time na dumating ka here, will be a little bit difficult. iisipin pa rin ng immigration na maaring nagpakasal kayo for visa lang. at maaring isipin rin nila na parang immitation lang din ang marriage nyo. just like you said, i-arrange lang ng sister mo ang marriage ninyo. marami na ring case na ganyan here sa japan, lalo na nga yong mga nag-asawa ng hapon. at the time na nakakuha sila ng permanent visa, saka sila nakikipag divorce sa asawa nilang hapon. kung iisipin talaga, hindi magandang gawain.

kung ako ang tatanungin mo, mas better siguro na sa pinas kayo magpakasal. umuwi sa pinas ang girl, dyan kayo mag-pakasal, then pag tapos na, balik sya here, then kuha sya ng COE mo para sa visa application mo. with that, i think instant 3 years agad ang visa na bibigay sa iyo ng immigration dahil di na nila siguro iisipin na nagpakasal lang kayo sa japan dahil sa visa. kasi karamihan here na nagpapakasal na pinoy is yong mga malapit ng mapaso ang visa. then para di pauwiin at magkaroon nga visa, ayon nagpapakasal nga. kaya naiisip nila lagi na laging takbuhan ang kasal for visa sake lang.

goodluck!

I know, its not very agreeable. Pardon me for being like this. But I'm just being honest here, coz I know I'm not the only one who's trying to get some luck in other places. So I'm willing to do what it takes to get a living in the most convenient way.

Thanks sa comment nyo sir. Its an excellent suggestion indeed. And getting back to my question from my previous post, so you mean mabibigyan pa din ako ng visa kahit hindi originally Japanese ang magiging spouse ko?

yes it is. it is very very possible. sometimes maganda pa nga or mas malaki pa ang chance na mabigyan ng visa ang isang dependent kapag filipino sa filipino ang nagpakasal or mag-asawa. unlike kapag japanese-filipino marriage. pero tulad ng sabi ko sa unang post ko, kailangang mawala sa isip ng immigration ang doubt na nagpakasal lang kayo dahil sa visa. that is why, i suggested na mas better nga siguro na sa pinas kayo magpakasal although pwede rin dito sa japan.

kung dito kayo papakasal sa japan, you need to go lang sa philippine consulate, pass the necessary papers at kailangan nyong 2 pumunta mismo don. then after that, change of visa sa immigration kung pupunta ka here with a tourist visa for example. then mababago na ang visa mo from tourist visa to a long term visa. siguro mga 1 year muna ang ibibigay sa iyo dahil yan ngayon ang kalimitang binibigay. pero maari ring 3 years agad, kapag wla nga silang doubt sa relationship nyo bilang mag-asawa.
