Hi po sa lahat! I am divorced with a japanese and have a 2 yr. old daughter in the Philippines that I want to petition here in Japan. My problem is she was born in the Philippines before the divorce and I named her by my maiden name because the  father is not the one i am married to. Pwede ko po ba cya mainvite here kahit d ko pa nababago ung married name ko so magkaiba po kami ng surname ng anak ko. I don't know kung kailangan b ng legal actions.   Baka po meron same or nakakarelate sa experience baka pwede po makahingi po ng advice. Thanks in advance...

kung mapapatunayan nyo na mag ina po kayo, i think you can invite her po here in japan kahit na magkaiba kayo ng name na gamit po now.  wave1

So hindi anak ng japanese husband mo yang daughter mo?
Meaning wala silang blood relation?

Anyway, kung may proper visa ka naman dito sa Japan,
At kung may permanent employment with good income to sustain the livelihood of your daughter,
May mai-submit kang employment certificate etc.
At makita naman ng immigration na kaya mong buhayin ang anak mo dito,
Maybe pwede mo syang ikuha ng visa like student visa.
Lalo na kung minor age like Elementary level (Shogakko) and Junior High School (Chuugako) baka sakali swertihin dahil education is essential to the youth.

Try to fill up and submit visa application form and requirements muna as first step.
Then, i-clear mo kung ano man ang ma-encounter na requirements.

Pero kung adult na ang anak mo, mahirap na siguro maikuha ng visa.

Good luck.
