.........gud evening po to everyone, ngaun lang ako nakapag update sobra kase naging bc..we came here in osaka last sept.17 po, tama po si sir striver yung 15 days na tourist visa yun na din ang landing permit na binigay sa min...we applied on the 25th at na grant po ito after 6 weeks .  1 yr long term visa for me and my youngest son, i called the ministry of justice one time and inquire about reacquisition of japanese nationality, sabi nila since 8 yrs old pa lang ang bata  kailangan daw nandito ang japanese father at magkasama kami sa pag apply ng reacqusition, otherwise we need to wait untill the child becomes 15 years of age. Here now is my problem... ayaw na po bumalik dito sa japan ng husband ko,.. will divorce be a solution?..if can get the sole custody of the child after divorce mai aaply ko na ba cia ng reacquisition after 6 months of staying here?..may kinalaman po ba ang divorce ng parents sa pag grant nila ng japanese citizenship newbie sa bata?..confused po...need advice!
...any suggestion will be much appreciatted...thanks   newbie

baliktad naman ang situation nyong mag-asawa. kaw is dito mo gusto manirahan, while yong asawa mo naman ay sa pinas. i think it will be a little difficult situation para sa inyo. the reason siguro kung bakit kailangan nandito ang father ng bata kapag mag-apply ka ng japanese nationality ng bata ay dahil ang tatay mismo ang tumatayong head of the family at sya ang supporter nyo while you are living here in japan. kung ang sabi ng ministry of justice is di sya pwedeng makakuha ng japanese nationality until the age of 15, i wonder kung ano talaga ang main reason. mas better siguro na pumunta ka mismo sa ministry of justice office at wag lang yong inquiry sa telephone call. mas malilinawan mo don ang lahat at mai-explain mo ang side mo. after that, saka kana siguro mag-decide kung ano ang next mong gagawin, kung makikipag-divorce ka ba or not.

kung complete ang mga papers na dala mo about your kid, i think malaki ang possibility na makakapag-extend ka ulit kapag malapit ng mapaso ang visa ninyo. kung may makukuha kang documents na galing sa ministry of justice about sa japanese nationality application ng bata, na kailangang maghintay until 15 years of age, that will be a good supporting document. that is why im advising you na pumunta mismo sa ministry of justice office personally.

thanks for ur advice striver san...going to moj is definitely my next move before getting divorce. Tama ka po, baliktad situation namin ngayon wherein gusto ko dito for the future of my children while my husband prefers living in the phils due to his own personal reasons. If i would be selfish. id rather stay there also,  no place like home po talaga! pero i want to give my 3 children fair chance of knowing a part of their origin. Its really hard to be a single parent here...i may know the language and can speak well in japanese but when it comes to reading and writing nahihirapan po ako esp now na nag aaral ang dalawa kong anak...Its a good thing na meron pong ganitong filipino community site na pwede i tackle any issues...Its a moral booster para sa mga katulad kong nag iisa dito...many thanks.
