JOVIALITY

« on: February 16, 2007, 10:52:04 PM »

Due to increasing crimes where prime suspects are foreigner here in Japan, the visa application for those foreigner with Japanese blood was changed a little. These changes was started last April 29, 2006. These changes was the submission of documents that will prove that the applicant has a good attitude and no criminal records on his/her mother country. These documents must be issued by the authorized organization in their home country. For us, these documents must be taken from National Bureau of Investigation and Philippine National Police(PNP).

If you have bad records written on the said documents like experience of penal servitude or imprisonment and been fined or receive any punishment from the law equivalent to those crimes you have done, chances are you will not be recognized as a person that shown good behaviour. Thus, denying your visa application.

Below are the documents you must submit when you want to invite someone here in Japan. These are for Filipino Japanese and their family only.
(1) Certificate of Eligibility
(2) A document that will certify applicants identity. Including a copy of his/her family registration, marriage certificate, birth certificate and any related death certificate that will proof your relation to the sponsor or that will prove that you have a Japanese blood.
(3) Certificate from PNP and NBI clearance
(4) Other documents which are used in inviting relatives like invitation letter, guarantee letter, etc. Please refer to the thread about inviting relatives here in this forum.

Please note that the above changes are applicable only for Japanese Filipino and their family or friends that will apply for visa. For those Filipino that are not, same procedure must be follow in applying for visa.
