COE Application for Kids (Not Married) Invited by Wife/Husband of Permanent Visa Holder

Kung kayo ay merong asawang Permanent Visa Holder now at meron kayong anak sa pagkadalaga or pagkabinata na nasa Pinas now at gusto nyong kunin upang makasama na ninyong manirahan dito sa Japan, ito po ang dapat ninyong ihandang mga documents para sa kanyang COE application.


To apply for a COE ng anak ninyo, ito po ang mga kakailanganin ninyong documents. Be sure na maihanda nyo lahat ng mga documents na ito bago kayo pumunta sa Immigration for application,

1. COE Application Form
Known in Japanese as 在留資格認定証明書交付申請書 (ZAIRYUU SHIKAKU NINTEI SYOUMEISYO KOUFU SHINSEISYO). You can get this document sa immigration office or you can download it from immigration homepage. Your should fill-up this form and write all necessary information.


2. Pictures (1 Piece)
A picture of the applicant is needed na ilagay sa COE application form, so you need to send this one. Ang size is (4CM[Vertical] x 3CM[Horizontal]), 1 copy only pero mas better na send kayo ng 2 piraso. Write your name at the back of the picture, then idikit ito sa COE application form. Ang picture dapat ay walang suot na sumbrero, walang background at clear ang pagkakuha. Ito ay kinuha dapat within a 3 months period.


3. Return Envelope (1 Piece)
Sobre na gagamitin ng immigration para ipadala sa inyo ang result ng COE application. Dapat na nakasulat na dito ang address ninyo na meron kasamang 392 YEN Stamp (切手, KITTE) na nakadikit na rin.


4. Documents from City Hall
(a) Residence Tax & Tax Payment Certificate (1 Copy)
This document ay makukuha sa city hall kung san kayo nakatira at naka-register sa Japan. Residence Tax known in Japanese as 住民税の課税(又は非課税) (JUUMINZEI NO KAZEI/HIKAZEI) na nabayaran for 1 year at ang Tax Payment Certificate known in Japanese as 納税証明書 (NOUZEI SYOUMEISYO) for a period of 1 year also. Sa document na ito makikita ang financial capability. Kung hindi makakuha ng document na ito dahil bago pa lamang sa lugar at work, pwede tumawag sa immigration para sa possible alternative document.

Kung parehong nagbabayad ng tax ang partner at ang Pinoy, ipasa ninyo ang document ng taong meron mas mataas ang binayarang taxes.

(b) Birth Certificate Approval (1 Copy)
Known in Japanese as 出生届出受理証明書 (SYUSSEI TODOKE JURI SYOUMEISYO), you need to submit this kung ang anak ninyo ay pinanganak sa Japan at nakapag-submit kayo ng Birth Certificate sa city hall.

(c) Residence Certificate (1 Copy)
Known in Japanese as 住民票 (JUUMINHYOU). Kinakailangan nyong kunin ay ang document na nakasulat ang lahat ng record ng mga taong nakapasok or naka register sa inyo bilang head of the family.


5 Documents about Work & Income
(a) Working Certificate or Employment Contract (1 Copy)
This document will identify your working status here in Japan kung employee ka. You can get this to the company where you are working. They call it in Japanese as 在職証明書 (ZAISYOKU SYOUMEISYO) or the 雇用契約書 (KOYOU KEIYAKUSYO). Kung parehong working ang partner at ang Pinoy, submit ninyo ang Employment Certificate ng taong meron mas malaki ang salary.

(b) Business Permit (1 Copy) & Tax Declaration Certificate (1 Copy)
If the parent is not an employee at meron sariling business, they can submit the Business Permit known in Japanese as 営業許可書 (EIGYOU KYOKASYO). Also, kailangan nyang mag-submit din ng Tax Declaration nito known in Japanese as 確定申告書 (KAKUTEI SHINKOKUSYO).

(c) Bank Account Certificate (1 Copy)
Kung ang parent at partner ay walang trabaho, kailangan nyang mag-submit ng bank account certificate nito to confirm its financial capability.


6. Other Documents
(a) Guarantee Letter (1 Copy)
The Permanent Visa holder partner ang syang tatayong guarantor dapat sa pagpunta ng bata sa Japan. So, this document need to sign by the partner. This is known in Japanese as 身元保証書 (MIMOTO HOSYOUSYO).

(b) Hanko (Seal)
This is the item use in Japan to put a signature in the document.

(c) Invitation Letter
Known in Japanese as 理由書 (RIYUUSYO), in this letter, you must prove here that you need to support ang anak na papupuntahin ninyo sa Japan.

(d) Birth Certificate (1 Copy)
Known in Japanese as 出生届 (SYUSSEI TODOKE), you need to get the birth certificate ng anak nyo from NSO.

(e) Paternity Acknowledgment (1 Copy)
Kung meron kayong document na hawak about sa Paternity Acknowledgment ng inyong anak, isama nyo rin ito sa application. This is known in Japanese as 認知証明書 (NINCHI SYOUMEISYO).

(f) Personal Identification
Kung ang COE ay kukunin ng ibang tao instead of the parent or Japanese partner, that person must show some valid ID and need to show i to the immigration personnel for identification.


IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
1. Ang lahat ng mga documents na hindi nakasulat sa Japanese language ay dapat na ipa-translate into Japanese. Kasama ng original document, you should attached the translated Japanese version of it sa likod nito.

2. As a rule, all documents na pinasa ninyo sa immigration for your COE application ay hindi na ibabalik. Kung meron kayong document na ipapasa at need nyo pa ito at meron kahirapan na makakuha ulit ng original copy, sabihin nyo ito agad sa immigration personnel at the time ng pagpasa ninyo ng mga documents.
