Kung kayo ay ang magiging flight origin ninyo ay mula Pinas, ang plane ticket ninyo ay bibilhin nyo dapat or mabibili nyo lang sa Pinas. When you buy your ticket, make sure that you know kung kasama na sa binayaran ninyo ang travel tax or hindi pa.

As a rule by TIEZA, the travel tax payment should be pay on the airline or travel agency kung saan ninyo binili ang ticket mismo. Kadalasan, ang binabayaran dito ay full amount dahil ang Travel Tax Exemption at Reduced Travel Tax Certificates ay binibigay lang mismo ng TIEZA Travel Tax Office.

Ayon pa sa TIEZA, air tickets which will be issued in the Philippines will only be released upon payment of the Travel Tax or submission of the Travel Tax Exemption/Reduced Travel Tax Certificates to the ticketing office.

Kung alam nyong exempted kayo or alam nyong discounted amount lang ang dapat ninyong bayaran na travel tax, you can apply for a REFUND of it in TIEZA office mismo, kung ang binayaran ninyo ay full amount at the time na binili nyo ang ticket ninyo.

Dito nagkakaroon ng claim ang iba na nagbayad ng full amount kahit na alam nilang exempted or discounted lang ang dapat nilang babayaran. Dahil sa hirap at mabusising pag-apply ng REFUND, pinababayaan na lang ng karamihan ang perang dapat na bumalik sa kanila.
