Ayon sa news na ito from NHK, meron 15,215 cases of crimes and illegal activities committed by foreigner who came here in Japan using short term visa for last year 2014.

Base sa statistic na ito na nilabas ng Japan Police Agency, ang data na ito ay bumababa at umabot na lamang sa one-third ng highest data they recorded back year 2004 & 2005 na meron almost 47,000 cases.

Per citizenship arrested by police, nangunguna ang China na meron 41%, then Vietnam with 14.5%, then third is Philippines with 7.5%, and Korea with 7.4%. Pinakamarami namang illegal cases ay ang pagnanakaw, shoflift or pangungupit na nahuli ng mga pulis, sumunod ang overstaying cases here in Japan.
